Its Life and I love it

Its been a crazy month and a half I am have been a slacker on my blog but hopefully I will be all caught up after this.
August was a fabulous month I guess you could say other than my best Friend leaving to china and school starting. I thought that I wanted school to start but now I am wishing that it could be summer again. The last few weeks of summer were a blast of course it was full of fun late nights and lots of laughing. I just have to thank my friends for making summer so great. I was a little worried about staying here this summer and having no friends but I know when you are were the lord wants you he takes care of you. Thanks girls for making it a great summer.

The best part about August was my old roommates and three of the boys that use to live across the way came down to visit me for the weekend!! It was an absolute blast!! It was full of adventure we went to Maple canyon to hike and it was a longer hike than we thought although it was worth it it was full of laughter and reminiscing. We played phase ten later that night and it was a blast we use to play phase ten all the time last semester although we rarely finished the game. I am so grateful they all came down for the weekend cause we had a blast and I hope they come visit some more. Thanks Braden Sophie Brinli Kayla Chip and Darin!!

I  love my roommates and couldn't have got any better ones. Me and Kayla share a room but not for long she is getting married in November that dang girl. Joe'e and Alyson share the other room. I just love Alyson we get a long great im sad that she is only here for the semester but that's OK we will just have to have extra fun to make up for her leaving. Joe'e is a fun roommate although she is shy we are gradually busting her bubble. Im excited for the school year and cant wait tell December when I get to graduate.

I LOVE July, but let me tell you why!

I love the month of july...and here is why......
1.The Bundy reunion- When my boss asked my to stay for the summer I told him under one condition and he said whats that I replied I get the fourth of July weekend off he asked why I told him and he said DEAL! I love the reunion every year its a blast old or not. This year I had some great adventures but the highlight of it all would be Pine cone Point! Katie Dahlen Kolter Aunt Marsha and I had quite the adventure. We all hopped into katies truck and started our drive to Pine Cone Point....lone behold we got "LOST" We drove lots of randoms roads until our destination was found...once we got there we threw pine cones off the cilffs and would watch them fly back it was pretty neat....after we got done we decided to head back... well instead of goin back the way we came we took another route after fourty five minutes on a rough trail a few scartcheson Katies truck and teasing that we were goin to hit a dead end  we really hit a dead end. A trip that was suppose to last an hour or two turned into like four or five! The week continued with fun I attempted to skeet shoot but it was so hard I didnt even hit ONE!ha Well it wasa a week of many laughs and a lot of memories made!

Number Two FIREWORKS
I love July Beacause of the fireworks Although I rarely get to see them on the fourth this year I got too! victoria Kaite and I went to the Eureka and watched an awesome show!

Number three SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY

In July thats when I get to spend a lot of time with my family and extended family. Just a week ago my family loaded up in the same truck (first time in 3 years and there was no fighting ha) and took the 16 hour drive to Gillette Wyoming to watch Mckay ride at the NHSFR! O what an adventure it was! It took us forever to get there and  then when we finally did it was like a kiss thE Ground moment! It was the longest week of my life! But it was fun though! Mckay rode monday night and covered and then rode again friday and got bucked off he miss the short go by five places! We sat around all week teased each other made a lot of memoires and made plenty of walmart and DQ runs and watched enough rodeos to last me tell the NFR! On Friday everyone plus dad minus the boys loaded into the truck and went to South Dakota to Mount Rushmore and Crazy horse! It was super fun! Mount Rushmore was pretty awesome I enjoyed it I also loved how different it was compared to home! Well saturday we finally left for home! Hallijuah I was so ready! one week in a camp trailer with six people can get a little crazy! We sat off on our journey home but this time with only 5 of us! Mckay stayed and hitched a ride to colorado to rodeo there!(btw he won a saddle). We stopped at Martins Cove and that was neat to see that and Devils Gate! I love watching Church History come alive! Well our journey continued until we stopped to find that when we hit a bump the trailer came off the ball and by miracle caught on the bed of my dads truck after a my dad the handy man fix the problem we continued to Nephi..My family stayed there and I came back to Ephraim and I was so glad to be Home!! It was a week that I will never forget!

My heart is full!

The lord answers prayers I Know this without a doubt.  This morning I went to the temple to do baptisms for the dead and with a prayer in my heart was searching for an answer and answer in which I knew when I received no matter the outcome would bring me peace. As I walked into the temple I was greeted by wonderful temple workers who had the biggest and brightest smiles on there faces. After getting ready I was sitting in the conformation room pondering my question and one of the temple workers says I have a thought I would like to share. Of course I love thoughts and in my head I was hoping it had to do with  my question and of course it was. Although it wasn't a straight up do this or that it was an thought that was connected with my question and together it became my answer. Of course that's not were it ended. Afterwards I was sitting on the chapel benches when I opened the scriptures to a random page to find a verse that was conformation of my answer.
I love this gospel and I am so grateful for the opportunity the lord given me to grow up in the church. The Happiness I have because of the gospel is good enough to be apart of it but all that happiness comes because I know what I can and do have because of it. I just wish everyone knew about the gospel and the happiness they can have from it. Whenever I go do baptism I think of those on the other side waiting for there chance to be baptized and accept the gospel and probably how they wish they would have known or accepted it before they passed away. But what great joy it is to me to know that although they are gone I can still help them progress on the other side.
I would just like to bear my testimony I know this church is true. I know the lord answers prayers and that he loves each and everyone of us. I know the book of Mormon is true and so many answers can come from reading it. I know that Joesph Smith was a true prophet and through heavenly father and Jesus Christ he restored the church back on the earth O how grateful I am for him and his wiliness to take the persecution and never deny or back down. I love my family and I am so grateful to know I have them for eternity. I am so grateful for temples and the peace and happiness that I can feel when inside them and for all the work that is possible for  the living and dead because of them. I am so grateful for my trials although at the time of them I am not but after looking back they have and do help me grow and learn. I know the lord will give me nothing that I can't handle. I love this gospel and I am so grateful for it and cant wait for the day I get to serve the lord as a full time sister missionary. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

ADEVENTURES OF THE LAST MONTH

A WEEKEND FULL OF FUN!
Ok so this last month has pretty much been a BLAST! I couldn't have asked for a better one...well maybe not having my best friend leave..Anyways I am loving this summer in Ephraim every week is filled with a new adventure.

He brought his four wheeler up and Him and my friends and I went up Ephraim Canyon and enjoyed playing in the mud! Although it was cold It was a blast!
Me and Katie had a little too much fun! we kicked the boys off the four wheeler and showed them how girls play in the Mud! Yes I think they were quite surprised to see the things we were doing! Yes we did turn around just to go through a puddle again. And yes we did see how muddy we could get. Thats what us Nevada girls are all about. Mud is our best friend!
After the four wheeler and yes the boys were all clean and of course me and Katie weren't. Is that a surprise I think not! It was an absolute blast. I am so glad Dahlen came up and Hope to see him more often. I really miss hanging out with him.
THE DREADED WEEK

My best friend was suppose to leave then I came up with a brilliant idea. If  I go home she will come with and that way she will stay longer and lone behold it really worked. Although her mother wasn't to happy about. We left Ephraim Saturday and began the longest 4 hour Drive home. It was full of laughter and many talks something that I will greatly miss next year. We arrived home about 11 o clock and my family had no idea we were coming. When we walked in the Door we scared my mom to death but she was still happy to see us! We stayed tell Tuesday and Had a blast! Monday Me Katie and Victoria took the ranger and went to the ranch just for fun. I hadn't been there in forever and let me tell ya I miss that place! It was absolutely beautiful up.
We defiantly enjoyed it and had a lot of fun.
We came home Tuesday Night and that's when reality hit My best friend was packing up all here stuff so she could leave in the morning. Can I just tell you it sucked. The whole morning was dreaded but I knew I had to say goodbye and well it sucked, but it will never be a goodbye just a see ya later. So grateful to have such an awesome best friend!

We went over some rough trails, but it was a lot of fun. We even encountered a tree that had fallen over in the road and there was just enough room to drive under although it was a tight fit!

The Little things that make me happy!

This weekend I have learned that the little things in my life are the things makes me the happiest!
I couldn't have asked for a better weekend.  It all started with an amazing Friday night. Me, Katie,Darrin and Mud went to the Manti temple to do baptisms for the dead and had the most amazing experience while there. As we walked into the doors of the baptistery the temple workers were happy to see us( a little extra happy). We later found out that four couples had come in with 250 family file names and needed help with them. So I had the wonderful opportunity to be baptized 25 times and also confirmed 25 times for those women who have been waiting on the other side. What a joy it is to know that even though I am here on earth I can still help those in heaven. After we all were done pres Bennett the second counselor in the temple presidency came and talked to us about what we had done those people on the other side. One thing that really stuck out to me while he was speaking was when he talked about how we just gave them the keys to release them from spirit prison. What an amazing visual that is off those women accepting the gospel and progressing on the other side. I couldn't have asked for a better Friday night than 2 hours at the temple.

Then there is Saturday. I had the opportunity to go brand calves with Scott and his Dad and Katie and Darrin came along. Being around cows is  something that I miss about home. The day was full of laughter as we teased each other and of course a little work, but not to much. The day continued with studying my lesson and the day ended with working at the Malt Shop(o malt shop how I love thee..sometimes)

Then there is the most amazing day ever and that would be SUNDAY I love Sundays.
I got to teach relief society for the first time ever and boy was it nerve racking but I think it turned out good. I think the lesson was more for me than anyone else. It crazy how the lord works and always knows what we need personally in our lives. As always the rest of church was amazing. Something that we like to do on Sundays is get together and have a big dinner. Of course it was a beautiful day and we headed up the mountain to dutch oven some potatoes and chicken. and of course cobbler because its my favorite! As we were cooking we ran out of propane but luckily for us the food was done thanks goodness cause I don't know what we would have done. It was an awesome Sunday and I am so grateful for amazing friends to spend it with.
I have truly had an amazing week and although nothin to spectacular has happened I learned that the little things in my life are what makes me happy and excited for the next day.

GOODBYES

I have been so blessed these last 2 years to have the oppurtunity to have 2 amazing rommates and this year to add another one. Sophie Brinli and Kayla have become my best friends. And of course the end of the year had to come and goodbyes couldnt wait any longer...........
The last time altogether!
You know those days when you wonder why you are in a certain place and then a few days or evens two years later you realize why....well that would be me! I always knew Snow college was where I was suppose to be, but  I still had those days of asking myself why. As the end of the school year approached I aften found myself looking back at how much have grown and how much fun I have had while being here. I give the credit to my father in Heaven for directing my path to snow college and I give credit to my Best Friend and roomates who have been amazing examples to me. When you have amazing examples in your life how can you not grow. Each one of my roommates taught me something new and each one of them have influcenced me in a positive way. I will forever be grateful to the lord for placing these amazing people in my life!

holding back the tears and forcing a smile

I have absoulutly loved being here at snow college these last two years and I am greatful to have another year with Kayla, but sad that It won't be with all of my best friends (soph, Brinli, and Katie).
We still got one more year!!:)

Although I had to say goodbye to My roommates I have the oppurtunity to live with my best friend for one more month. Although I was always warned to NEVER live with your best friend I am and I love it. We are going to live it up for one more month and then the dreaded goodbye must come but that is still a few weeks away so heresto a few more of weeks of playing!
